What is NI driving Theory Test?

The theory test will assess your knowledge and application of the highway code. If you put in the effort, you should be able to pass fairly easily. The test is made up of 2 parts. Part 1 is a set of multiple choice questions to  test your knowledge of highway rules and related material. The second part is the hazard perception test. Like all tests of this type, lots of practice will be rewarded with a pass. When you pass both sections you will awarded an official certificate, congratulation you are halfway to being the proud owner of a provisional driving licence NI.    

How much does the Theory Test NI cost?

You must have lived in England, Wales or Scotland for at least 185 days in the last 12 months before the day you take your theory or driving test.
Car and motorcycle tests cost£23.
Lorry and bus tests cost:part 1a (multiple-choice questions) - £26
part 1b (hazard perception) - £11
part 2 (case studies) - £23

What do I bring to the test centre?

Documents to take on your driving theory test: You must bring a copy of your provisional licence, Without this you will not be permitted to sit the theory test. If you will be taking the driving test in your own car you will also need proof of insurance for the day of the driving test.  If required, one day driving test insurance is available with our partner GoShorty.

Now that you have passed the theory test it is time to consider booking the piratical driving test, you have 2 years before the theory test will expire, so you have plenty of time.
